• The 15 amp outlet features a tamper-resistant design, which prevents curious children from putting unwanted objects into the receptacle while still allowing for easy insertion of the appropriate plugs. This tamper-resistant receptacle is a white color with a flat matte finish, but Lider devices come in a range of striking colors to elevate the look of virtually any home or business.
• General-use outlets only fit polarized plugs (with uneven prongs) in a single, straight-on direction, thus users are prevented from flipping one over to fit two if the plugs are bulkier. This special, convertible decorator outlet eliminates that problem by providing an “upside down design” that allows two large polarized plugs to fit flipped on either top or bottom outlets.
